Xante to release Version 10.2 of its iQueue Workflow Software

The upcoming release of Xante’s iQueue 10.2 Adobe PostScript Workflow Software features several new capabilities including:

• Better spot-colour accuracy that increases the potential spot colours from 60,000 to over 200,000 possible matches.
• An improved Spot Color Creator that converts images to spot colours for accurate spot-colour matching. Users also now have the ability to export the EPS-converted images.
• Variable-data sorting features that automatically sort envelopes by ZIP code, city, state or any other variable-data field.
• The ability to output PDF proofs for any print job ­- for job approval, e-mailing or filing.

A variety of other enhancements are included in Version 10.2, most of which were designed by Xante’s iQueue users group. iQueue version 10.2 will be available on the Xante website and is another free update for all current iQueue users. The software still retains all features from previous versions – including job-cost estimating, variable data with or without intelligent-mail barcodes, imposition/tiling and more.
No specific date was given for the pending release, though the company said it would be available “soon.”
