Calgary’s Joanne Ruston is four-time Speedpro Franchisee of the Year

Joanne Ruston, owner of Speedpro Signs Calgary North East, has earned the company’s coveted Speedpro Signs Franchise of the Year Award for 2014. This marks the fourth time she’s earned the company’s top award. Ruston also received the Al Crow Memorial Sales Award for achieving the most sales in the country.
Speedpro Canada President Stuart Burns noted that its highest award of achievement requires the franchisee to demonstrate leadership in sales volume and growth, ethics, innovation, employee satisfaction and community involvement.
“Under the management of Joanne Ruston and Joe Yee, Speedpro Signs Calgary North East has exceeded expectations in every category and is a worthy recipient of our Franchise of the Year award,” said Burns. “By creating fantastic client experiences, Speedpro Calgary North East has developed rock solid loyalty. This is a real team effort in which everyone at this location has played a part in earning. Congratulations to Joanne and Joe and their entire team.” Her shop also set a new sales record for an individual location.
Ruston enjoyed a 20-year career in the service industry before joining the sign industry in 2001. In 2009 she was named one of Business in Calgary Magazine’s Leaders of Tomorrow.
