Konica Minolta to launch “world’s fastest” auto-scanning spectrophotometer

Konica Minolta has announced development of its new FD-9, an auto-scanning spectrophotometer capable of measuring a standard colour chart, commonly used in the printing industry for profile creation, at the “fastest speed in the world.” It will be launched worldwide this summer, with repair and calibration services available at the OEM’s five major business centres around the world. The OEM added that its new FD-9, incorporating Konica Minolta’s state-of-the-art optical measurement and image processing technologies, “brings greater ease, accuracy and efficiency to the colour management process in the printing industry.”
