Kyocera Document Solutions America has unveiled two new series of MFPs – the TASKalfa 8052ci colour series and the TASKalfa 8002i black-and-white series. These high-speed colour and monochrome MFPs offer advanced features to help larger workgroups accomplish more in less time, thereby increasing overall efficiency. “For companies with both high-volume and superior image-quality needs, all models feature true 1,200 x 1,200 dpi at full speed, said the OEM. The TASKalfa 8052ci Series can output up to 70 pages per minute (ppm) in full colour and up to 80 pages per minute in black-and-white – with optional 4,000-sheet external finisher, 7-bin mailbox, booklet/trifold and three-hole-punch capabilities. The TASKalfa 8002i Series provides up to 80 ppm for workgroups that require monochrome printing only – with the same advanced finishing options.
kyoceranewmfps2-in“At Kyocera, we’re proud to deliver the features our most demanding customers are asking for,” said Douglas Cole, Director of Product Marketing, Corporate Marketing Group, Kyocera Document Solutions America. “Both of these series do just that, while also delivering exceptional value.” All models provide standard wireless, Wi-Fi Direct and NFC support for Android mobile devices. They’re also HyPAS-enabled, ready to run Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Kyocera Mobile Print, and with 60-plus other business applications offered by Kyocera.
The 9-inch, 90-degree-tilt touchscreen and intuitive tablet-like interface make for a straightforward user experience, said Kyocera. Each model can scan up to 220 images per minute via its standard 270-sheet dual scan document processor. Standard OCR turns scanned documents into searchable PDFs, enabling users to easily and quickly locate and replicate information. The TASKalfa 8052ci and TASKalfa 8002i series are also Kyocera Fleet-Services-ready. Kyocera Fleet Services (KFS) is a comprehensive cloud-based monitoring service that allows authorized dealers to remotely handle many maintenance tasks for their customers without time-consuming, on-site visits. Through KFS, dealers can anticipate issues and resolve them before they occur – and even update firmware during off-hours, maximizing uptime across the entire fleet.
