Mimeo has announced the launch of Mimeo Photos, a new photo project extension for the Apple Photos app, now updated as part of macOS High Sierra. The new extension empowers hobbyists, marketers and professional photographers alike to create high quality photobooks, cards and calendars from directly within the Photos app on the Mac. “We’re excited to launch this new offering. Over the past decade, we’ve developed tremendous expertise producing millions of photo products for the world’s leading photo brands,” said John Delbridge, CEO of New-York-based Mimeo. “Now, the Mimeo Photos project extension for the Apple Photos app allows us to offer the same high-quality products directly to Mac users.” Mimeo’s project extension for Photos enables Apple Mac users to create high quality photobooks, cards and calendars directly within the Apple ecosystem. The launch coincides with Apple’s release of macOS High Sierra.

After installing the Mimeo Photos project extension from the Mac App Store, users can build their projects directly in Photos for macOS. Mimeo’s products are crafted in their print production facilities located in the United States. Using digital photo collections, customers can create high-quality projects in minutes – including photobooks for weddings, travel, birthdays and more, calendars with a new memory each month, cards with a personalized touch, and so on. “Projects can be built and customized in minutes using Smart Themes,” said David Uyttendaele, CTO of Mimeo. “Unlike other platforms, our customers can start with a complete photobook and then tweak it to make it their own. Mimeo Photos also has a powerful toolset for those wishing to create projects from scratch.”
