After months of intense competition, the finalists in the Sinapse Print Simulators’ North American Print Skills Contest are Sunny Turner, from Appalachian State University in North Carolina, and Sylvia Xiaoying Ma, from the Graphic Communications Management (GCM) Course at Ryerson University in Toronto.
Both have consistently solved print problems on Sinapse’s SHOTS Print Simulator at the lowest production cost, and have thus outscored their competitors. Using cloud-based simulators, both finalists can view the problems, analyze the possible causes, decide how to solve them and see the final results and costs of their actions (or inaction).
The Final round will be held “live by projection” at California Polytechnic State University, July 8 during the International Circle (IC) Conference. The winner will immediately qualify for the competition rounds of the Drupa 2016 SHOTS & Flexo Contest – and will not have to go through qualifying rounds.
