Veritiv calls for entries for its 2016 Canada National Design and Print Excellence Awards

Veritiv Corporation (Mississauga, ON), a leading national distributor of commercial printing and imaging papers, has called for entries in its 2016 Veritiv Canada National Design and Print Excellence Awards (uVU). “The uVU Veritiv Design and Print Excellence Awards recognize top graphic designers and print providers from across Canada,” said Jason Alderman, Regional Vice President (Canada) for Veritiv. “Innovation in the print space, both from a design and production standpoint, has reached new heights. Veritiv’s uVU Awards program provides an opportunity for winners to celebrate with existing clients while broadening their exposure with potential clients.” Veritiv has assembled a panel of five judges comprised of experts in design and print from across Canada. The 2016 uVU Awards judges are:

Entries across 30 categories will be reviewed in June and judged in the areas of design excellence, communication strategy, print quality and appropriateness of paper, and use of photography, illustration and typography. All entries must have been produced in full or in major part between June 12, 2015 and June 6, 2016, and printed on paper sourced from Veritiv. The deadline for submissions is June 8, 2016.
Participants will be competing for an opportunity to showcase their work in the Veritiv uVU traveling exhibit, which will make stops in Calgary, Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg and Vancouver later this year. In addition, all entrants will receive a Veritiv uVU Catalogue featuring all of the winning entries. This year’s uVU Call for Entry and envelope was designed by WAX Partnership, and printed by McAra/Unicom, Calgary.
