The event will take place at the Grand Banking Hotel in Toronto as the Canadian B2B magazine industry gathers to celebrate the 61st Annual Kenneth R. Wilson Awards. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served at 6 pm with the Banquet and Awards presentation at 7 pm.
The Awards, produced by the Canadian Business Media Association (formerly CBP), highlight and celebrate the best in Canadian business-to-business (B2B) magazine publishing. Submissions in 21 categories will recognize excellence in the creation of written, visual and integrated magazine content. New this year, all written categories no longer required hard copies.
Master of Ceremonies will be John Milne, VP of Media services at EquiSoft, the Montreal-based developer of the publisher elements suite of audience development and management tools. Milne is also President and owner of Breakwell & Company, a publishing consulting firm with clients across Canada. He has co-authored (with D.B. Scott) three key whitepapers on the history, evolution and future of the Canadian business media industry for Magazines Canada, and is a frequent speaker at publishing industry events across the country.
