Willow Publishing, a Brighton-Ontario-based printer, recently upgraded to a re-conditioned 20 bin Duplo System 4000 Collator, Bookletmaker and Face Trimmer from leading Canadian print finishing supplier Sydney Stone. The system, which was fully reconditioned by Duplo’s team of factory-trained service technicians, offers Willow much more reliable production than it had been experiencing with an older model system from another equipment manufacturer.
“When I was at Graphics Canada this past April, I was reviewing the options available for a re-conditioned bookletmaking system,” said Willow Publishing’s Dan Weiss. “I saw first-hand the Duplo System that Sydney Stone was showing at their booth during the show. The system now offers us the ability to turn jobs around faster and spend less time on set-up compared to our previous equipment.”
“This Duplo system had a complete run though with our service team and it came out looking and running perfectly,” added Michael Steele, Director with Sydney Stone. “This model of the Duplo Bookletmaking System is ideally suited to Willow’s requirements.”
Willow Publishing specializes in signs and wide format, labels, books, patient directories, laminating, canvas prints, web design and much more – and prides itself on superior quality, competitive pricing and some of the fastest turnaround times in the industry. Established in 1994, the company also offers Air Miles Reward Miles on all purchases of print products, as well as graphic and web design.
Sydney Stone was established in 1951 and since that time, has grown to become one of the premier Canadian distributors of print finishing equipment and supplies throughout the world – importing and representing brands such as Morgana, EBA, Vivid, Watkiss and Duplo, to name a few. Its focus is on the short-to-medium-run print market.
