Multigraphics of Vancouver has become the first graphics company in British Columbia to install a Jeti Titan HS (High Speed – up to 160 m²/hr.) flatbed six-color UV-inkjet printer with Flat-To-Roll (FTR) and primer options from Agfa Graphics Canada. Founded in 2005 by Matthew Clark, with a tradition of impeccable quality and service, Multigraphics has continued to focus investment on the latest digital print technology and infrastructure to serve the needs of its growing digital print customers. The company’s specialty products include custom interior and exterior signage, grand-format banners, point-of-purchase displays, window and floor graphics, glass printing, building wraps and much more.

The Jeti Titan HS is a true flatbed UV-inkjet printer that combines “exceptional print quality and high productivity at a best-in-industry price point.” The robust build engines incorporate the latest generation in inkjet printheads (Ricoh Gen 5 with 1,280 nozzles). The default set-up is six colours plus white. White printing is supported by different modes including overprint, under-print, spot, under-spot, fill and over-spot for rigid media, and pre-white for roll media. The white ink solution features an automated re-circulation system for maximum reliability.
The Jeti Titan HS is ideal for higher-volume or fast-turnaround jobs and is designed to guarantee the highest accuracy in drop placement. The 7-picolitre droplet size makes it possible to achieve photo-realistic image quality with fine text down to 4 point positive and negative. The Jeti Titan HS “works like POP viewed at close range or for the high-level art, fashion and cosmetics markets.” It also features a precision moving table built on a robust steel frame for seven-day/three-shift endurance. Its FTR option gives users the ability to print on flexible media up to 3.2 metres (125.98 inches) wide with the same high quality and resolution as rigid materials. Its Asanti workflow software and Anuvia UV-curable inks form a matched component system that’s “designed to work together optimally to ensure the highest quality results and maximum productivity for a predictable income.”
