DIA January 20 meeting to delve deeper into recent developments driving digital inkjet printing and finishing

diameetingjan22-inThe Digital Imaging Association’s next meeting is Wednesday, January 20 at Spicers, 200 Galcat Drive in Vaughan, Ontario. The topic – Inkjet, The Game Changers – will delve deeper into the theme of the DIA’s 2015 Christmas Luncheon where keynote presenter Jim Hamilton, Group Director at InfoTrends, gave a fascinating one-hour presentation on the recent market developments that are driving higher speed, increasing productivity, expanding format and enabling special effects beyond CMYK that are prevalent in today’s digital printing and finishing sector.
In 2013, global digital production of colour was approximately 348 billion impressions. By 2018, InfoTrends projects this to exceed 725 billion impressions.
diameetingjan22A-inThe DIA has invited five companies with products featured in the InfoTrends presentation to give attendees an in-depth look at a specific inkjet products or product lines addressing output size, speed, quality and quality benchmarks, variable-data capabilities (including speed, colours and output), and efficient static data run length. Companies presenting will include Canon, Delphax, HP, Konica Minolta and Xerox.
