Presstek (Hudson, NH), a leading provider of eco-friendly printing solutions, has entered into an agreement to acquire the business and operations of Anocoil Corporation. The transaction should be completed by the end of this month, subject to closing conditions. Going forward, Presstek and Anocoil will leverage their respective strengths to accelerate the development of new, environmentally friendly printing solutions and to provide enhanced services to customers.
Founded in 1987, Presstek provides printing solutions that are eco-friendly and engineered to streamline workflow while increasing productivity, efficiency, and profits for printers. Presstek’s core products include 4-colour to 6-colour DI digital offset presses, thermal and inkjet CTP systems, and printing plates for DI presses and CTP applications (waterless, thermal and inkjet). The company is a multi-vendor service provider with a global network of service technicians supporting pre-press, press and post-press equipment – including Presstek and other industry brands.
Anocoil (Rockville, CT), founded in 1958, is one of North America’s largest independent producers of analogue and digital offset printing plates for the newspaper and commercial markets. Anocoil is also a developer of major innovations in the areas of aluminum substrate and coating technology.
