Drupa Cube, one of the most popular and anticipated destinations at Drupa 2016 (the world’s largest printing industry tradeshow May 31 to June 10 in Düsseldorf, Germany), will feature some 60 keynote speeches, panel discussions and presentations by international experts (Hall 6, Stand D03). Drupa Cube sets itself apart with its focus on visitor target groups from the printing industry s well as the the creative, brand manufacturing and print buying sectors.
“If you want to master the current changes in the print industry, consistent change management is indispensable. This, in turn, only works out when you pursue a multi-disciplinary approach and look beyond your own backyard,” said Sabine Geldermann, Director of Drupa. “With The Medici Group, which is synonymous with ‘out-of-the-box thinking,’ we have exactly the right partner by our side.”

Frans Johannsson, founder and CEO of The Medici Group, will give two keynote presentations, both from 11 am to 11:45 am, on May 31 and June 2. The renowned British brand agency FreemanXP was commissioned with the strategic and creative design of the program and its on-site implementation.
The English Cube program for the 11 tradeshow days is divided into five areas: Keynotes, Business Evolution, Technology, Innovation@the Intersection and C-Level. The 6 sessions under the heading “Innovation@the Intersection” will cover sector-specific subjects such as The Role of Large Format, The Role of Packaging in the Customer Journey and 3D Print: Hope or Hype? Experts from The Medici Group will present a broader view and show how easily innovative and sucessful approaches from other industries can be transferred to the printing industry.
drupacube2016b-inThe C-Level sessions will address executive management, both exhibitors and visitors. These C-Level sessions will be held right after the four keynotes, and are designed as interactive workshops that share strategic “insider” knowledge. Each keynote speaker will act as a facilitator. Participation in these sessions is by invitation only.
The Creative Day by W&V on June 3 (10 am – 3:45 pm) and the two half-day conferences of OE-A (Organic and Printed Electronics Association) on June 2 (2 pm – 4:30 pm) and on June 7 (11 am – 2 pm) round off the Drupa Cube program. The OE-A events will be held in English and the Creative Days in German. The complete Drupa Cube program is available at:
