DIA to explore Smart Mail Marketing at October 19 meeting

diameetingoct19a-inThe meeting, examining Smart Mail Marketing – The Science of Activation, will take place Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Spicers, 200 Galcat Drive in Vaughan, Ontario. Refreshments will be served at 6 pm, the meeting starts promptly at 7 pm and ends at 8:30 pm. Every day, Canadians are bombarded with advertising messages in the form of billboards, newspaper ads, TV commercials and emails. Direct mail, on the other hand, is delivered to a mailbox – a far less crowded environment that allows your message to get the attention it deserves, according to a special report titled Usage and Effectiveness of Print Advertising.
At this timely session, Canada Post will present its newest product – Smart Mail Marketing – which is a software-intelligent approach to direct mail. The new technology brings together three powerful elements to get your brand into your customers’ hands – the physical experience (physicality), data and connectivity. It’s a “potent mixture” that makes marketing more relevant and more engaging. These elements combine to “inspire customers to act” and result in marketing campaigns that drive more measureable responses for every dollar of a customer’s budget.
