On Friday, November 4 (at the St. Lawrence Centre’s Jane Mallett Theatre, 27 Front St. E. in downtown Toronto), Adobe’s Loni Stark, Senior Director of Strategy & Product Marketing, will be in Toronto speaking at DesignThinkers, Canada’s only conference for visual communicators, organized by the Association of Registered Graphic Designers (RGD). Her presentation – Experience-led Design: Marrying Data with Creativity – will explore the value that combining data and creativity can have on content and experience-led design.
Data has traditionally been viewed as part of the marketing and tech function, separate from creative and design. Yet designers and marketers have the same end goal in mind: delivering amazing, standout experiences that result in happy customers and build brand loyalty. Leveraging Adobe’s design and data heritage, she’ll explore the value that merging data and creativity can have on content and experience-led design for design-firm owners, creative directors, design managers and their clients. Following the presentation, she’ll be available to discuss how bridging the gap between science and art will be critical for improving a brand’s bottom line moving forward.
DesignThinkers, Canada’s only conference for visual communicators, delves into industry trends with visionaries from a wide range of communications-related disciplines – including design, user experience, advertising, branding, consumer engagement, film, social media and entrepreneurship. Sessions teach delegates how to create effective communications by exploring cutting-edge innovation, the latest technology, demographic and ethnographic trends, strategic management techniques, cognitive theory and much more. Online registration ends October 31.
