Heidelberg USA recently launched Heidelberg Connect, a new resource centre for customers to easily access relevant information for their next strategic investment. In addition to the new website (which is complementary to the existing Heidelberg website), customers can now download the free Heidelberg Connect app available for iPhone and Android via the App Store and Google Play Store. According to the OEM, the purpose of Heidelberg Connect is to support customers in their purchasing decisions by highlighting trends in printing technologies, and the business reasons behind Heidelberg’s most recent installations. Subscribers get a look at Heidelberg’s latest news updates and educational resources, as well as key developments in the graphic communications industry.
“From our research, it’s clear that customers explore potential investments through ‘self-discovery’ well before engaging with a supplier,” said Andy Rae, Senior Vice President, Equipment & Marketing, Heidelberg Americas. “We wanted to provide a convenient, one-stop resource centre for customers to investigate industry trends, discover key ways to improve performance and determine the business reasons why other customers purchased certain solutions.” Resources include press releases, educational videos, whitepapers, product guides and brochures, Heidelberg Direct and Heidelberg news magazines, and blog posts written by Heidelberg experts.
