Massivit 3D Printing Technologies (Lod, Israel) has announced that, after being unveiled for the first time at drupa 2016, sales of its new Massivit 1800 3D Printer have surpassed expectations and are now well into double figures worldwide. The ground-breaking 3D printing solution for large-format visual communication applications removes the previous time and cost constraints of manual model making. It helps enables the production of eye-catching, 3D printed sign and display projects beyond those that can be achieved with 2D printing devices. Following its global premiere, the 1800, which can print models up to 1.8m (6 ft.) high, has been exhibited with an array of visually-striking models at six tradeshows on four continents.
During that time, the system has already been installed by several customers worldwide including:

Australian large-format 3D printing company, OMUS, which purchased the Massivit 1800 to meet a growing customer demand for super-sized, high-quality visual communications within retail, staging, display, events and architectural design.
  • UK full-service printing house, Stylo Graphics, which deployed the Massivit 1800 to produce eye-catching 3D models for the retail, interior design and hospitality sectors.
  • Leading Israeli retail brand development company, Heidia, who anticipates it will maintain its competitive edge using its new Massivit 1800 to unlock new business opportunities.

“The way in which the large-format sign and display market has embraced the Massivit 1800, clearly underscores the obvious market opportunity for 3D printed applications,” said Avner Israeli, CEO of Massivit 3D. “Since launching the Massivit 1800, we’ve doubled the number of our employees and increased our global distributor network. There are now more than 20 distributors who are attending to customers worldwide.”
