Popular with many printers in Canada and the United States, Hunkeler will hold its Innovationdays for the 12th time in Lucerne, Switzerland at the Messe Lucerne Exhibition Facility February 20-23. Characterized as “the premier industry event for high-performance digital printing,” Innovationdays 2017 will feature groundbreaking innovations, world product debuts and a full range of practical solutions. As always, the show will feature more than 80 industry leaders showcasing the latest products and cutting-edge technologies. “Innovationdays strives to bring clarity to current trends and the newest developments, as well as how these interplay in real-world production environments. The event fosters unique opportunities for visitors to discover, learn and share in an unparalleled setting,” said show officials.
Over 40 new and practical solutions will be featured in two exhibition halls – including workflow solutions, transaction and transpromo printing, direct-mail production, security printing, and graphic arts applications such as books, brochures and newspapers. Innovationdays 2017 will also give visitors a preview of Hunkeler’s next-generation technology, featuring advances in automation, new modules for processing paper widths of up to 22.5 inches, and much more. Helping to round out the exhibition program is a suite of finishing solutions from industry leader Horizon of Japan, including automated book manufacturing, saddle-stitching, folding and more.
Nearly 6,000 visitors from over 50 nations traveled to Lucerne for Innovationdays 2015, and the 2017 event is expected to set new attendance records. “We’re not aiming just for a bigger show and audience. We want to attract the right people: print professionals dedicated to understanding and participating in the future of digital printing,” said Stefan Hunkeler, President of Hunkeler AG. “Our slogan ‘reaching the summit together’ refers to the special atmosphere of Innovationdays, where visitors discover and share innovative ideas, practices and solutions with colleagues old and new alike.”
