The Digital Imaging Association’s next meeting on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Spicers (200 Galcat Drive in Vaughan, Ontario) will delve deeply into some of the new PDF 2.0 capabilities for print – including Black Point Compensation (BPC), spectral colour definition of spot colours via CxF, and page-level Output Intent profiles.
Mark Lewiecki, Senior Product Manager for the Adobe PDF Print Engine (APPE), will discuss potential workflow applications for these new capabilities. He will also mark the 10th anniversary of APPE with a product update. His presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session – so bring your questions and your challenges.
Refreshments will be served at 6 pm, the meeting starts promptly at 7 pm, and will end promptly at 8:30 pm.
