Ryerson GCM Colloquium “Spectrum+:The Expanded Colour Revolution” set for February 16

ryersonspectrum-inStudents in the Graphic Communications Management (GCM) program at Ryerson University in Toronto are hosting their annual Colloquium on Thursday, February 16, 2017. The event is an opportunity for industry professionals and current students to discuss relevant issues and connect with like-minded peers. This year’s theme is Spectrum+: The Expanded Colour Revolution. It will explore printing beyond CMYK by using an extension of orange, green and violet inks to create a wider variety of colours. Leading industry experts will present a variety of insightful topics on expanded colour gamut specifically related to the printing industry. Free refreshments and snacks will be available.
Speakers will include Kyle Mcvey of Jones Packaging, John Seymour (John the Math Guy), and Nawar Mahfooth of ColorXTC. Registration will begin at 6 pm and presentations will start at 6:30 pm, followed by a panel discussion, Q&A session and a brief reception. The location is Ryerson University’s Cara Commons (1-148), Ted Rogers School of Management, 55 Dundas Street West, in downtown Toronto. All members of the industry are invited. The GCM Colloquium is a long-standing annual event organized by GCM students. Each year the students plan an evening in which leading industry speakers are invited to discuss relevant topics in the printing industry.
