The Flexographic Technical Association (FTA, Bohemia, NY) has launched the newest addition to its Flexography 101 booklet series, An Introduction to Color Fundamentals. The booklet is the sixth of its kind designed to complement a well-rounded set of industry essentials including: An Introduction to Flexography, Anilox Handling & Care, Ink Handling & Maintenance, and Plate Making and Plate Mounting. It was created to provide a better understanding of colour related to the graphic arts industry. Developed for all levels of flexographic professionals, from seasoned veterans to entry-level workers, this edition is intended to build upon or refresh the reader’s basic knowledge of colour. Topics include:
- How colour is perceived
- Basic colour model descriptions
- The electromagnetic spectrum
- Colour comparisons
