Soon to be available in Canada, Konica Minolta has launched its ‘Simply Efficient’ AccurioPress C6100 Series of colour production printers, designed to support a highly responsive printroom environment. The AccurioPress C6100 Series is now available in the 85 ppm (pages per minute) C6085, and the 100 ppm C6100. The fast and flexible series has been created for printers who recently started digital printing and are now expanding their services, as well as those who need to handle large, repeating print volumes. “Customers, including graphic communication providers, CRDs and print-for-pay operations, will all benefit from these simply efficient presses,” said Karl-Friedrich Edenhuizen, Product Manager, Production Printing Group, Konica Minolta Europe.

Uptime is assured via highly automated features such as automated colour adjustment, skill-less operation, constant control of gradation and front-to-back registration. Enhanced functions, including stabilized paper feeding, support a wide range of paper weights from 52 gsm to 400 gsm, plus embossed paper, encouraging broader production possibilities. Other enhancements include low-cost envelope printing via a dedicated fusing unit. All of these features are targeted at growing printers’ business, said the OEM. Reliability and stability is further enabled by Simitri HD E Toner for higher offset-like natural textures, while lower temperature fusing reduces damage to paper resulting in higher quality finishes and improved environmental performance.
