The technology is used for colour verification across all press types and can confirm printing to any colour standard including ISO and G7. The new pressSIGN 8 automatically imports closed-loop system data from a wide range of systems – including the latest inline Heidelberg press system, Inpress control. Linking to a closed loop system enables pressSIGN to automatically track colour output without further need for operator intervention.
PressSIGN tracks solid colours including spot colours, tints and gray balance, providing immediate feedback on colour output. It provides adjustment data to the operator, or adjustments can be looped back to the press console. Press calibration curves can be generated for all major prepress workflows. All measurement data is stored in the database for trend analysis and extensive reporting functions.
