Graphic Arts Magazine (headquartered in Newmarket, Ontario with editorial offices in Toronto), the leading media brand for the printing and graphic arts industries in Canada, is pleased to announce that industry veteran Filomena Tamburri is joining the staff as Editor in Chief effective today. She’ll provide overall direction for the content of the magazine and its website, and will take a leading role with special projects that will expand the Graphic Arts’ product line. “I’m pleased to welcome Filomena as Editor in Chief. She brings a wealth of knowledge about the graphic arts industry, and has distinguished herself as an accomplished reporter, writer and editor over the years,” said Joe Mulcahy, Publisher and Founder of Graphic Arts Magazine. “I look forward to joining the GAM team and helping to take the company to a new level of growth with special projects and other initiatives,” said Tamburri. “The graphics and printing industry has gone through tremendous upheavals, but there are still plenty of opportunities, and I’m pleased to be a part of it again.” Tamburri, who edited another magazine for several years, had recently stepped away from the printing industry for a couple of years to focus on other publishing initiatives. “Filomena and I have previously helped each other out as we worked on a number of yearly projects. She’ll be a valuable addition to our team, enabling us to concentrate on bringing you even more news and industry-relevant features,” said Editor Tony Curcio.
