RISO (Burlington, MA) will be exhibiting its full line of inkjet printers at booth 3213 at Print 17. The Print 17 tradeshow is the largest gathering of the printing, publishing, in-plant, graphic communications and mailing/fulfillment communities in the Americas. It’s returning to Chicago September 10-14, 2017, once again at McCormack Place. The showcased technology will be the RISO T2, a high-speed duplexing device that can achieve up to 320 colour impressions per minute. Originally shown as a prototype at last year’s Drupa and Orlando’s Graph Expo 2016, the T2 is an ideal solution for high-volume transactional printing.
Also featured at its booth will be several configurations of the OEM’s ComColor GD Series of Professional Inkjet Printers – high-speed, full-colour solutions that use the company’s patented ForceJet Technology and a unique five-colour print matrix. The fifth ink, gray, “results in an exceptional gray scale print quality, truer reproduction of flesh tones, and denser blacks.” The series comes with an embedded GDI while offering an optional production RIP with a Fiery-enabled Digital Front End (DFE) developed specifically for RISO by EFI (called the ComColorExpress FS2000C). Long recognized as the world leader in digital duplicators and an innovator of inkjet printing technology, the ComColor GD and FW series are the company’s fifth-generation of inkjet printers. The ComColor series is known for high productivity, energy efficiency and reliability. They offer fast, affordable, environmentally friendly digital colour at speeds of up to 160 pages per minute. RISO’s line of digital duplicators includes one-colour and two-colour systems that reliably produce millions of copies, are environmentally friendly, and are extremely easy and inexpensive to use.
