Kompac to present new high-speed UV/Aqueous coating solution at Print 17

Kompac (Somerville, NJ) will be showcasing its newest high-speed coating and priming system, the EZ Koat 20 Plus, at Print 17 September 10-14 at McCormick Place in Chicago, with daily live demonstrations. The high-powered UV/Aqueous coater now reaches speeds up to 200 feet per minute. Also being included in the demos will be the adjoining feeder and stacker for handling mid-volume to high-volume production. Now offering an Anilox Coater option, the EZ Koat 20 Plus makes running soft-touch and matte coatings “simple and easy.” The standard Kompac Coating System remains in place to quickly switch to high-quality UV/Aqueous gloss and satin coatings when desired. The OEM added that, unlike competitive systems, the Kompac’s EZ Koat line operates with a digital lamp driver, providing “infinitely variable” curing and drying capabilities, as well as instant start-up after coating changes. “Patented technology exclusive to Kompac translates to a guaranteed 25% power reduction and greater productivity for the customer,” the company said. “Print 17 is a fantastic venue that brings industry professionals together,” said Chris DuFour, Director of Sales & Marketing.
