Presstek (Nashua, NH), a leading provider of eco-friendly printing solutions, has launched Zahara NWL – a chemistry-free waterless plate exclusively designed for narrow-web label printers. Water washable “a market exclusive,” Zahara NWL is extremely durable and UV-compatible, making it an attractive and environmentally-friendly plate solution, said Presstek. Also being launched is the Dimension Pro-W Thermal CTP Imaging System optimized for Presstek’s Zahara waterless plate family. These new products are being featured at Labelexpo Europe 2017 in Brussels which ends tomorrow.
At the show, Presstek and Codimag are demonstrating the advantages and simplicity of a chemistry-free waterless offset printing workflow. The Zahara NWL plate will be imaged on a Dimension Pro-W CTP system, water-rinsed, and printed on Codimag’s VIVA 340, a six-colour, waterless offset press. Visitors are invited to bring their press-ready print jobs on a USB drive to the stand to witness the streamlined, high productivity workflow, featuring the Zahara NWL plate and Dimension Pro-W CTP system.
