It’s an accepted fact that when a marketing program is at its very best, it will also involve altruism – in this case, helping your local community. Printi, a Boston-based online printer that caters specifically to creative professionals (from graphic designers to small businesses and marketers), has announced a significant notebook donation to Cradles to Crayons Boston. Throughout the month of November, Printi will donate 500 notebooks for every 500 notebooks sold online.
The donated notebooks will be delivered to Cradles to Crayons’ Boston Giving Factory location in mid-December, just in time for Christmas and the holiday season.
Cradles to Crayons is a non-profit organization that equips children from birth through to age 12 living in homeless or low-income situations, with essential items they need to thrive.
“In honour of the holiday season, we want to give back to our Boston community in a way that would make a real impact,” said Meaghan Donlon, Senior Operations Manager at Printi. “Supply budgets for public schools all around the country are being cut, and many parents can’t afford to buy pricey school supplies. Cradles to Crayons gives children the opportunity to thrive in their environments, and the Printi team is dedicated to doing what we can to help give the next generation of artists, entrepreneurs and leaders, the tools it needs to learn.”
“When businesses give back, it makes a tangible difference. Without contributions like these notebooks from Printi, we wouldn’t be able to commit to supporting 140,000 children in need in Massachusetts this year,” said Lynn Margherio, Cradles to Crayons’ Founder and CEO. “These simple supplies help set our kids up for success in school and in life, and we’re grateful for their generosity.”
