Avanti Computer Systems, a leading provider of Print MIS (Management Information Systems) for the production print market, moved its offices last month to a new and larger location at 251 Consumers Road, Unit 600, in Toronto – and celebrated with clients, the trade media and others with a three-hour open house featuring snacks, a special cake, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and much more. This event represented Avanti’s 4th move to larger headquarters since Stephen McWilliam, Patrick Bolan and Peter Funnel acquired the company in 2004. “After Avanti’s 3rd move to Victoria Park four years ago, I remember saying, as I looked around at all the extra space, that we’re good now for 5 to 10 years. You just never know! We’ve already added three people since moving here to Consumers Road,” said Avanti President and CEO Patrick Bolan.

Since 1984, Avanti has provided innovative, award-winning Print MIS solutions that help print shops and marketing communication organizations automate all facets of their business and cultivate a more meaningful customer relationship. Avanti’s solutions are the most open in the industry, are JDF-certified, and extend from estimating through to production planning and billing. For example, Avanti’s award-winning Slingshot solution is one of the most advanced JDF-certified Print MIS available in the market today. JDF is the industry standard for process automation in pre-press, press and post-press.
