Riso (Burlington, MA) has announced the North American release of its latest advance in digital duplicating – the MF9450 Digital Duplicator. The OEM’s newest model is a fully automatic cut-sheet digital duplicator, producing two-colour documents in a single pass at up to 150 pages per minute. “With the MF9450, speed, colour, versatility and reliability are built in, making this digital duplicator the perfect choice for high volume one-colour and two-colour printing,” said the company.
Combining true 600 x 600 dpi image quality with high-speed two-colour printing, the Riso MF9450 produces sharp, clear images, even with fine lines and small characters. Swappable colour cylinders provide over 70 available colours to choose from, and the MF9450 accommodates a wide range of paper types, giving users a wide range of output options. The MF9450 also features advanced workflow capabilities to reduce pre-press and make-ready times by up to 50% over more traditional two-colour processes. The new model “leverages decades of industry-leading design and manufacturing practices to deliver the legendary reliability and longevity that Riso customers expect and rely on,” the company added. The MF9450 is now available from Riso and its sales channel network worldwide. Riso is a wholly owned subsidiary of Riso Kagaku Corporation, Japan’s leading manufacturer and distributor of high-speed inkjet printers and digital duplicators.
