AnaJet (Tustin, CA) has released to its Ricoh Ri 3000 and Ri 6000 customers a new firmware update (1.2) and AnaRIP software update (5.1) that, among other improvements, increases the print speeds on dark shirts by over 60 seconds on the Ricoh Ri 3000 Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printers. AnaJet accomplished this by adding a Speed Mode to the white under base pass. In addition, a new adjustment feature to the white highlight will give customers the ability to fine tune the amount of white ink volume laid down on the CMYK pass for highlights of white. Finally, there are multiple improvements to both the firmware and RIP to improve stability in data transfer and reduce occurrences of interrupted prints. All upgrades are designed to provide enhanced print speeds on dark shirts, additional technical support, and improved printer stability.
