CJ Graphics earns the most Benny Awards in North and South America for the second consecutive year

Leading Canadian commercial printer CJ Graphics Incorporated of Mississauga, Ontario has been awarded 6 Benny’s, the highest honour in the PIA’s (Printing Industry of America’s) 2018 Premier Print Awards competition. The annual awards represent the printing and graphic arts industry’s largest and most prestigious worldwide competition, recognizing outstanding achievements in print production. Now in its 69th year, the annual contest recognizes those responsible for the creation and production of superior printed communications, and rewards companies and individuals who produce the very best.

This year more than 2,000 entries were received from printing and graphic arts firms around the world, and judges awarded the Benny to the top entry in each category. “It’s an honour to be recognized by the industry as a company that produces award-winning print, and win the most Bennys in North and South America during the awards,” said Jay Mandarino, President and CEO of CJ Graphics. With a total of 6 Benny’s, CJ Graphics also won the most awards of any entrant in this year’s international competition.
“The Benny winners represent the best our industry has to offer. This year’s entries were outstanding. There were entries from companies in 8 countries,” said Michael Makin, President and CEO of Printing industries of America (PIA). Despite the fierce competition, CJ Graphics, through hard work and dedicated craftsmanship, produced 6 pieces worthy of the Benny.”
CJ Graphics will receive their Bennys at The Premier Print Awards Gala, which honours all the companies that had the top award conferred upon them. The 2018 Gala is scheduled for Sunday, September 30, 2018 at the JW Marriott Chicago Hotel in Chicago, Illinois. The Printing Industries of America hosts the annual Premier Print Awards. Headquartered in Warrendale, Pennsylvania, the PIA is the world’s largest graphic arts trade association representing an industry with approximately one million employees. It serves the interests of more than 4,000 member printing companies.
