Quebec’s Solisco partners with PrintReleaf

Solisco (Scott, Quebec), one of Canada’s largest commercial printers, has partnered with PrintReleaf, enabling its clients to select reforestation equivalents to the paper used on their printed projects. PrintReleaf creates a global sustainability standard by certifiably guaranteeing to ‘releaf’ the paper consumption of its customers. It’s the only technology platform that measures customers’ paper usage and certifiably reforests that usage on an equivalent basis. The technology not only tracks paper consumption, but also monitors PrintReleaf reforestation partners to ensure fulfillment.

“We’re pleased to welcome Solisco to the ever-growing PrintReleaf family of commercial printers,” said PrintReleaf CEO and Founder Jordan Darragh. “Using our patented software, Solisco can now promote reforestation to its clients on their quotations.” Alain Jacques, Solisco CEO, added: “Solisco has emphasized sustainability since its founding. We believe that good practices help the environment, our communities and the world we all live in. Responsible forest management – such as waste reduction and recycling ink, paper and energy – is a key element in our blueprint as an organization. With PrintReleaf, customers can designate any of 7 different stressed forest areas around the world for their reforestation.”
