Agfa Graphics four Product of the Year awards from the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) include the new Jeti Tauro H3300 LED (won in the Roll-to-Roll UV Over 80 Inches category), the Jeti Mira (won in two categories – the UV Flatbed + White $200,000-$500,000 category and UV Flatbed $200,000-$500,000 category), and the Anapurna H3200i LED (won in the UV Hybrid $100,000-$500,000 category). The coveted SGIA Product of the Year competition exceeded previous submissions this year with 255 entries vying for recognition as the industry’s leading equipment, software, media and supplies. A total of 255 entries in 68 product categories were submitted. Judges evaluated prints based on overall colour appeal, tonality, image detail, objective colour matching and grayscale colour cast. Winners will receive their Product of the Year awards at a special presentation on October 17, 2018 – the eve of the 2018 SGIA Expo October 18-20 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Agfa Graphics has won 11 SGIA Product of the Year Awards since its first submission in 2014, and will showcase its 2018 Product of the Year winners at this year’s event in booths 1460 and 1561.

The Jeti Mira MG2732 HS LED with varnish and RTR is a powerful moving-gantry flatbed printer is designed for optimal flexibility. Jeti Mira’s ‘Print & Prepare’ function enables the operator to load one side of the table while the other side is printing, for non-stop productivity. The Jeti Mira reaches speeds up to 2,669 ft²/hr. (248 m²/hr.) and produces “industry-leading print quality” in six colours (CMYKLcLm) and white, with optional (3D) varnish or primer.
The Anapurna H3200i LED, a 3.2 m hybrid, is ideal for a variety of uncoated rigid media and roll media applications. Its 6-colour engine includes a white ink function that creates possibilities for printing on transparent material for backlit applications or printing white as a spot colour. It also offers a solid, robust design to sustain higher workloads.
