Konica Minolta releases Extreme Digital Designer’s Guide

The new visually stunning and touch-enticing publication from Konica Minolta Business Solutions (Canada) showcases the latest digital printing and print finishing technologies, while expanding the scope of what’s possible for designers. The OEM’s new Extreme Digital Designer’s Guide presents a range of groundbreaking digital printing and finishing applications – including texturized foil and varnish printing, various paper stock and substrate printing applications, embossed labels and invitations, authenticated holographic digital printing, banner production and many more. The designs included in the guide were all printed on Konica Minolta’s line of production and industrial printing devices – including its AccurioPress series, its MGI iFoil series, and the KM-1 Inkjet Press.

“We wanted the guide to inspire and challenge designers to think outside the box when it comes to designing for digital,” said Norm Bussolaro, Senior Director of Marketing for Konica Minolta Business Solutions (Canada) Ltd. “The exceptional quality of the pieces in the Designer’s Guide, coupled with the range of digital finishing options on display, are indicative of the leaps and bounds that Konica Minolta has made with its technology in recent years. We hope that this guide will serve to further educate designers about our expanded digital capabilities, and ultimately drive more volume to our graphic communications customers. I’ve had the honour of presenting the Designer’s Guide to industry professionals, and I think a lot of people are going to be impressed with what we’ve created, and with the capabilities of Konica Minolta’s digital printers. You really have to see it – and feel it – to believe it,” he stressed.
“Traditional analogue printing methods, such as offset printing, have long been the industry standard despite the relatively high costs and skilled labour requirements associated with their use. However, advances in digital printing technology have revolutionized production printing, and thanks to innovative industry leaders like Konica Minolta, customers can now produce high-quality short to medium print runs at an affordable price.”
Earlier this year, Konica Minolta launched its PowerUP Business Builder Marketing Program – a custom-tailored service designed and delivered by print industry marketing experts to help clients quickly build awareness and accelerate adoption of their new capabilities. Together, the production and release of the Designer’s Guide, and launch of the PowerUP programs “are key parts of Konica Minolta’s ongoing commitment to its industrial and production print customers,” said the OEM. A brief video of the program is available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cdb7PZ_lBg8. The Extreme Digital Designer’s Guide is now available for order to advertising and marketing agencies, professional designers, other industry professionals and all Konica Minolta clients. Interested parties should contact their local Konica Minolta account representative for more information.
