Printing United already 90% sold out

According to event partners NAPCO Media and the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA), industry-leading suppliers and manufacturers have already reserved 90% of available exhibit space for the debut of the Printing United tradeshow that will take place in Dallas, Texas October 23 – 25, 2019.
“Printing United continues to gain momentum, and we’re pleased to eclipse the 90% sold threshold nine months out from the Expo,” said Mark Subers, President of Printing and Packaging at NAPCO Media. “The SGIA Expo, the predecessor of Printing United, has been a sell-out for many consecutive years, and Printing United will follow in that tradition – even with the expansion of segments and increase in floor space.” The Printing United tradeshow floor now includes more than 500 companies from several key industry sectors.

Show officials added that, to stay competitive, print service providers are branching beyond their core businesses into new printing markets. They also pointed out that their research indicated that this group includes a huge 95% of current commercial printers. They went on to say that Printing United will serve printers and exhibitors by offering solutions from suppliers and manufacturers in several market segments – including garment, graphic, packaging, commercial, functional and in-plant printing. “Most expos in the printing industry focus on a single segment. Our research indicates that this isn’t the way print service providers are heading,” said Ford Bowers, President and CEO at SGIA. “The purpose and strength of Printing United is its support of businesses who are making the most of the convergence phenomenon.” For more information please visit https://info.printingunited.com/main.
