SGIA (Reston, VA) and NAPCO Media (Philadelphia, PA), creators and organizers of the Printing United tradeshow, have announced that Andy Cvitanov has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this new position, he’ll oversee all operations within the newly formed company – including association infrastructure, strategy, audience development, finance, IT, human resources and many more. “The combination of SGIA and NAPCO Media has created a unique opportunity in the marketplace, and I’m excited to help achieve its vision,” Cvitanov said. “This coming year will be a revitalizing time for both members and the industry as a whole, and I’m glad to be a part of it.”
Cvitanov has held senior leadership positions in the B2B space, from entrepreneurial and middle-market, to large Fortune 500 companies. He most recently held the position of President and CEO of Vizant, a privately-held independent advisory firm assisting companies in eliminating transaction fees, improving processes, optimizing products and delivering greater business value.
He has led the growth and operational execution of a supply chain firm, an IT services organization, a tax and accounting firm and  various leasing companies. He also led the development and implementation of an outsourcing strategy for a Fortune 500 company, was a co-founder of a private equity firm, and served as a director on multiple boards, both for-profit and non-profit.

“We’re very pleased to have Andy on board,” said Ford Bowers, President & CEO at SGIA. “His extensive M&A and Board experience – having purchased, integrated and advised on acquisitions and divestitures – will be a major asset to our newly formed organization with NAPCO Media. We are building a team to further develop and expand on member benefits, and Andy’s proven ability to uncover growth opportunities and mobilize resources to create value is a perfect fit.”

Dave Leskusky.

“Combining two organizations is exciting, but also filled with challenges,” said Dave Leskusky, President of NAPCO Media. “Having someone of Andy’s caliber join our team provides years of experience and an outside perspective, which will be beneficial in our short-term execution and our long-term strategy. We’re looking forward to being able to provide even more benefits, resources and strategic growth for years to come.”
