The school and sports photography business (commonly called “Volume Photography”) has seen tremendous growth over the past decade. Digital capture, green screens, downloads and more, have opened up new revenue opportunities – but the learning curve can be very, very steep.
A new U.S.-based Facebook Group called Speaking Volume has just been formed to bring practical information to entry-level photographers as well as to experienced photographers in a positive, engaging environment. The community can be found at https://www.facebook.com/groups/SpeakingVolume/ and is spearheaded by Jeff Gump (Cr.Photog) who has more than 30 years of Volume Photography experience, and Eric Miller, who is a nationally recognized speaker and Volume Photography business coach.
“We’re collaborating with nearly 50 combined years of experience and knowledge to help fellow volume photographers with sales training, onsite photo shoot set-up, and just the day-to-day operations of running a successful Volume Photography business,” explained Miller.
“Our goal is to create a community where photographers can share experiences and keep up with the latest advancements,” Gump added. “Eric and I have strong relationships with photo labs, camera manufacturers, oftware companies and many other vendors. With our community, our combined voice will have a tremendous impact,” he added.
