Graphic Communications Management (GCM) students at Ryerson University in downtown Toronto have gathered together research on important topics in the current printing and graphic communications industry. The timely webinar series will explore 18 specific topics covering sustainability, packaging, technology, publishing and strategy. The research was completed as part of a project-management class one semester before the students completed their summer internships. This year, the entire project is available in an easily accessible online collaborative environment. Each student group conducted research, authored content, and continues to actively build community around their specific topic of interest. The emphasis is on planning, delegating and decision-making, as students learn to become future leaders in our industry. The series of live online events will take place Thursday, Friday and Monday, November 26, 27 and 30. Student groups will cover each topic in an intensive, fact-filled 15 minutes.
