Industry veteran Philip Hampson has joined Canon Canada (Mississauga, Ontario) as Senior Director of Production Printing Systems. Hampson brings over 20 years of experience and expertise in several key areas to his new position. He’s an accomplished, results-oriented sales leader known for successfully navigating complex sales operations, as well as dealing with internal challenges with clearly defined strategies that drive revenue for major OEMs such as Fujifilm – his most recent employer before assuming production printing equipment duties at Canon Canada.
Hampson was with Fujifilm North America Corporation for almost two years where he developed, drove and executed strategic plans to achieve sales budgets. He further oversaw all aspects of the Fujifilm portfolio, including high-production inkjet sales. Prior to that, he was Inkjet Sales Manager at Fujifilm Canada for almost eight years. He also spent over two years at Mondrian Hall (a division of Unisource Canada) as its National Equipment Manager, in addition to over five years at Ernest Green & Son as its National Wide Format Manager. Hampson is a graduate of Fanshawe College.
