Komcan appoints Barbeau and Mihalachi to key positions and signs new support, service and parts agreements

Komcan Incorporated (Georgetown, Ontario), the sole authorized agent for Komori printing presses and auxiliary equipment across Canada (including factory-approved service, OEM parts and consumable products), has made two key appointments in sales and parts well as customer support.
In sales, Thierry Barbeau has accepted the position of Sales Manager, responsible for the complete product line sold by Komcan, and will be covering Eastern Canada. Barbeau is an industry professional that most recently worked with Xeikon selling its digital presses and solutions. Prior to that, he held key positions with with press manufacturers Manroland and Heidelberg. “His knowledge and proven track record will be a true asset for us,” added Komcan President Steve Ranson.

In parts and customer support, Komcan also announced the hiring of Daniela Mihalachi for its Head Office in Ontario. Mihalachi, who is fluent in both English and French, comes to Komcan with extensive customer service skills, along with a degree in multi-media from the University of Montreal, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering.
From an electrical and mechanical support side, Komcan has entered into an agreement with Jean-Philippe Arsenault and Alain Page to service and support Komori presses in Eastern Canada. For parts and service in Quebec, Marie-Hélène Tardif will be the local contact. Both extremely well known to current Komori users in Quebec and will be “a huge asset to the Komcan team in Eastern Canada.”
