Mutoh America, a leading manufacturer of wide-format printers and cutters, has promoted Ryan Arakaki to the position of Advertising and Events Manager and welcomes Mark Rugen as the company’s new Director of Training and Education. Working under the guidance of its Director of Sales and Marketing, David Conrad, Arakaki has been with the Mutoh marketing team for over two years. His experience with coordinating events, working one-on-one with customers, social media and graphic design, has prepared him for this role. He’ll continue growing Mutoh’s vision and brand working alongside the product, training and sales teams. “I’m excited for the new opportunity to take on a larger role in the Marketing Department and to be a part of Mutoh’s continued growth,” said Arakaki. “I plan on continuing and expanding the success of our tradeshows, advertisements, and other company-related events.”
Mark Rugen comes to Mutoh with over 30 years of experience in the sign and printing industries and is a well-known expert in FlexiSign software as well as colour management. Rugen will develop training and education for Mutoh – including eco-solvent, dye-sublimation, UV and textile printing devices. “Look for big things to happen for the industry with Mutoh support for his training and education service,” said Brian Phipps, President of Mutoh America. “This is a huge step forward not just for our customers, but all of the industry!”
