Canadian Print Scholarships has announced that 68 new and returning students at five schools nationwide have been selected to receive national scholarships for the 2019/2020 academic year valued at $1,500 each. These students met the minimum academic requirements necessary to qualify for the awards in either their first or subsequent years, in one of the organization’s approved university or college programs.
Students at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology, Nova Scotia Community College, Ryerson University and Southern Alberta Institute of Technology will benefit from this support as they pursue studies in printing and graphic communications. “We’re excited about the success of this first year of a pilot program designed to attract young people to the printing and graphic communications industry,” said Jeff Ekstein, Chair of Canadian Print Scholarships. “This is the most scholarships that we’ve awarded in a single year!”

The mission of the Canadian Printing Industries Scholarship Trust Fund (CPISTF) is to attract the brightest and the best students available to the printing and graphic communications industry by providing financial assistance to enroll and continue in a post-secondary management or technical program at an approved educational institution.
