Canadian Print Scholarships has announced that 76 scholarships will be awarded to students in five graphic communications programs across Canada for the 2020/2021 academic year.
“With support from industry, Canadian Print Scholarships has provided scholarships to hundreds of graphic communications students,” said Jeff Ekstein, Chair of Canadian Print Scholarships. “The financial support helps cover the high cost of a college or university education. Upon graduation, these students bring the skills, energy, and ideas we need to keep our industry moving forward.”
“Since we entered into scholarship agreements with these schools, the number of students supported has increased each year,” added Sean Murray, Treasurer at Canadian Print Scholarships. (Please see the chart below).
Key growth markets – including digital printing, display graphics and packaging – are just a few of the many areas of study for students enrolled in these graphic communication programs. And success is dependent on support from our industry.
The mission of the Canadian Printing Industries Scholarship Trust Fund (CPISTF) is to attract the brightest and best students available to the printing and graphic communications industry by providing financial assistance to enroll and continue in a post-secondary management or technical program at an approved institution.
