Georgian Copy (Barrie, Ontario) has purchased a Triumph 5560 Hydraulic Cutter from Print Digital Solutions (PDS, Toronto). The programmable cutter features hydraulic blade and clamp drive, power back gauge, digital touchpad, and IR safety light beams. Clamping pressure is fully adjustable from 1,900 to 3,800 psi. Its electronic hand wheel, with infinitely variable speed control, is used for manual back gauge positioning. Its Easy Cut blade activation bars ensure true, two-hand operation and allow blade and clamp to be activated independently. A programmable control module is equipped with a multi-lingual touchpad for easy operation. Ninety-nine programs with 99 steps in each can be stored in the cutter’s memory. It also features a Memory Key for repeat cuts, an Automatic Set function for reference measurement, and an Eject function for pushing out paper. It also has a self-diagnostic system with error indication.
