KKP Edmonton (10607 170 Street NW) has installed a Mutoh ValueJet 1324 Wide-Format Eco-Solvent Sign & Display Printer from PDS (Print Digital Solutions). The shop will be using the new printer for decals, banners, tradeshow graphics, indoor and outdoor signs, POP displays and much more. The 54” ValueJet 1324 utilizes a four-colour printhead and Mutoh’s patented i² Intelligent Interweave print technology that allows for increased print speeds and virtually eliminates banding. It prints up to 565 square feet per hour and can be equipped with the SpectroVue VM-10 spectrophotometer for easy profile making. It also uses Mutoh’s CMYK Eco Ultra ink for both indoor and outdoor applications. The printer’s performance can be monitored through a user’s smartphone via the new ValueJet Status Monitor (VSM) app.
For over 31 years, Print Digital Solutions (PDS) has been a Canadian leader in supplying and servicing a host of printing, finishing and label-making technology to the Canadian market. For example, it brought the Rapid X1 to Canada – the world’s fastest digital tabletop label press. Following its release was the Eclipse LF3 Digital Label Finisher. Today, PDS is also the Canadian Master Distributor for OPUS Metal Bind Hard Cover Book Binding Systems and Gold Stamping. PDS was also recently appointed by Duplo USA to provide sales and service of all Duplo graphic and office equipment across Canada.
