The OPP (Ontario Provincial Police) Head Office in Orillia, Ontario has purchased a Triumph 7260 28” Hydraulic Programmable Cutter with air beds from Toronto’s Print Digital Solutions (PDS). The 7260 is a powerful hydraulic cutter that can slice through stacks of paper up to 3” thick. The cutting width ranges from a wide 28’’ to a narrow cut of 3/4’’ for maximum flexibility. An electronic hand wheel makes manually controlling the back gauge easy, and an IR safety curtain covers the work area, to prevent injuries and facilitate a safer working environment. Easy Cut blade bars provide two-handed operation, and for added safety, it’s possible to replace the blades without removing the machine covers. The programmable back gauge will store up to 99 programs with up to 99 steps in each. The 7260 also automatically corrects itself in case of back-gauge displacement, and has push buttons for rapid forward and backward back-gauge movement. A calculator is integrated into the programming module for versatile dimension entry options, while the digital display also has a self-diagnostic system with error indication. The stainless steel work surface and front & rear air tables make trimming and handling large sheets exceptionally easy.
For over 35 years, PDS has been a Canadian leader in supplying and servicing a host of printing, finishing and label-making technology to the Canadian market. PDS is also a distributor for the world’s leading OEM’s – including OKI, Duplo, Mutoh, MBM and MultiGraf Touchline.
