Komcan (Georgetown, Ontario), Komori’s exclusive dealer in Canada, has installed a new Komori GLX 6 41-inch colour offset press at Produlith Packaging in its Boucherville, Quebec production facility. “The press comes with the highest level of automation and inspection systems available in the market today,” said the OEM. Some of those features include PQA-S sheet quality and colour control, PDC-X scanner, PDF comparator, and a full array of automation functions that improve productivity. The 18,000-sheet-per-hour press is capable of running up to 40-point board with fully automatic, non-stop delivery. Komori GLX presses can accommodate not only package printing, but also high-end commercial and publishing printing, due to their exceptional print quality and versatility. Their energy-conserving and space-saving design, along with reduced heat emissions, also provide benefits for the environment.
