In a recent agreement, Apex North America has become the preferred anilox manufacturer for Bobst North America’s Web-Fed Division – including its flexible packaging, pre-print and narrow-web presses. Apex and Bobst will work together to promote Revo narrow-web presses and the added value around a solution-based offering to the market – namely Bobst’s narrow-web presses combined with Apex’s GTT patent Anilox engraving. “This unique combination brings a clear intent to support our customers,” said the companies. “Apex remains the only anilox company to offer every possible engraving and roll composition in the market today, giving Bobst a complete and full anilox selection – from conventional to GTT to meet all of its web-fed customers’ printing and coating needs.
“We have a long-working history together in the industry and we’re bringing innovative development technology to projects like Revo in the narrow-web label and packaging industry,” said Todd Blumsack, Vice-President of the Web-Fed Business Unit at Bobst North America. “The agreement will also work in the direction of promoting each other’s technology, as the seamless integration of our solutions, adding more value to the relationship with our clients in the Canadian and Amercian printing and converting market.”
“Apex and Bobst have been working together for many years globally,” said David McBeth, Vice-President of Sales at Apex North America. “Being chosen as the preferred vendor for Anilox for the Bobst North America Web-Fed Division flexibles, pre-print, as well as the key partner for Revo narrow-web presses, allows both companies to promote each other’s technologies and the significant value they bring to our customers and prospects throughout Canada and the USA.”
