Cansel acquires major printing industry supplier Ernest Green & Son

canselernestgreen-inVancouver-based Cansel – a software, hardware and service provider to the engineering, surveying, construction, architecture, government and printing industries – has acquired Ernest Green & Son Ltd., the largest independent distributor of graphic arts products and services in Canada. No financial or additional details were released.
Ernest Green & Son (Mississauga, Ontario) began as a small family-owned business over 60 years ago and quickly gained a reputation for providing the highest quality equipment, supplies and service – multiplying its branches to stretch from Québec to British Columbia. Its product portfolio spans the spectrum of equipment, supplies and service for the flexographic packaging, commercial offset, digital and wide-format inkjet printing markets.
“This acquisition marks our commitment of expanding in the print and graphics space,” said Stephen Fletcher, Vice President, Cansel. “Ernest Green & Son has been a leading supplier to the commercial print marketplace in Canada and brings a depth of expertise, products and clients that we don’t currently have in our organization.
